W00T! This picture is simply Epic Win. It may not seem like much, but it comprises the way I felt after trolling away farming for an entire weekend on my level 30 THF at the time. Taking things back about a year or two... in FFXI if you want to be a Ninja you need a lovely little scroll by the name of Utsusemi Ichi to start out. In order to get this lovely scroll, you need to do a fairly simple quest.

The problem here, is that inorder to be eligible for said quest, you must have enough Fame in the area that the quest is from. Inorder to get that fame... you need to slaughter bird people... lots of bird people...

I had to collect over 250 of these little necklaces which are a semi rare drop as it is. Even as a Thief it took quite some time. This picture accurately displays the way that I think Eji and I both felt when the farming was finally done. Sheesh...
